WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE
If you have the passion for interior design and the ability to transfer ideas and visions to outstanding home furnishing solutions we want to hear from you!
You have an education in design, a passion for home furnishings and a curiosity and understanding of people’s everyday life at home.
You have a practical hands-on approach, and you work well with parallel projects and multiple deadlines.
You thrive in a very fast paced retail environment, you’re positive towards quick changes and can pinpoint small changes that makes a huge impact.
You are computer proficient with knowledge and experience of using relevant software (e.g. REVIT, AutoCAD).
You can communicate your ideas and visions in a confident and clear way.
You are enthusiastic about assignments and working with others.
You actively seek to improve your methods of working in a simple, clean and cost-efficient way.
You have the ability to communicate in both Japanese and English with confidence.
You are resident in Japan (with work permission)
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Your tasks will include (but not limited to):
Creating functional, commercial and outstanding home furnishing solutions that reflects how really people live in our market.
Planning and implementing well-designed, beautiful, sustainable and affordable solutions using Revit.
Stimulating and increasing the interest in home furnishing through constantly showing new and inspiring solutions that motivate people to visit IKEA frequently.
Using the richness of the IKEA product range to show distinct and different styles that appeal to many individual tastes and needs.
Reflecting the IKEA Brand identity by creating visual impact in all commercial, sales support and co-worker areas.

ABOUT THIS WORK AREA
【Working hours】
This is a permanent, full time role based at the IKEA Nagakute.
Basic working hours starting from 8:00 – 17:00.
Not according to Japanese calendar holiday.
【Employment Status】
– Full-time employee- 40 hours per week contract
Indefinite employment with no contract period (probation period: 6 months after joining)
Start date is the first day of every month (consult with us about your start date)
Retirement age: 65 years old
