Our school is expanding to another location so we are looking for a new member to join our team at Merry West English in Suzuka, Mie. We need a reliable person to teach all ages from 2 to 82! The majority of work is with children so experience teaching that age group is a must. We are looking for someone reliable and motivated to positively contribute to our family environment. The candidate will be required to demonstrate they possess both classroom management skills as well organisational ability to manage their time productively.
The applicant must also enjoying singing and dancing with children. Being able to relate and have fun with the kids is a must. The successful applicant will be encouraged to grow creatively in the position and come up with fun and entertaining lesson plans, along with the required curriculum, which will be rewarded through both summer and winter bonuses and incentives throughout the year. Teachers salaries will be raised periodically throughout the contract period.
Teachers also have 2 days off a week—you won’t be required to work 6 days a week at our school…and only one morning a week. Suzuka City is a wonderful place to live as it combines traditional and modern Japan to create the ideal living experience for those looking to experience all facets of Japanese life. Suzuka has the largest shopping center in Mie as well as the most popular shrine in the area —Tsubaki shrine. Suzuka is also one of the safest places in Japan. No major fault lines, protection from Tsunami, minimal snowfall and no risk of landslides or volcanic activity. Suzuka has easy access to major sightseeing points: 90 minutes to Kyoto, 2 hours to Osaka, 1 hour to the oldest and most famous shrine in Japan —Ise Shrine— and less than an hour to Nagoya. You can experience mountain and beach life in the same day if you want! The F1 Circuit is also located in Suzuka. The food is amazing and life is quiet and easy. We love it here and so will you!
